As a bonus below your results: the record of the building you search for. What public law says about its plot, what the building consumes, and what is being prepared outside its door: three options, to enable according to your profession.

Real SITG data, recorded in October 2026. The orange edge flags what needs attention.

Energy · IDC

The heat expenditure index of the building, its three-year average and its position against the thresholds of the energy regulation: audit and improvement measures above 450 MJ/m²·yr, works above the significant exceedance threshold, which drops from 800 to 650 on 1 January 2027.

For property management firms, building managers and owners.

Planning · public law and heritage

For architects, notaries and investors.

Neighbourhood · announced works

Private building sites under way within 150 metres: applications whose start of works the office has registered, with their subject, address and distance. Plus road works within 60 metres, pipes, surfaces and landscaping, with their dates.

For building managers, shopkeepers and owner-occupiers.

By profession

Property managers. The IDC places each building of the portfolio against energy obligations and their deadlines; the neighbourhood option flags building sites under way nearby, so tenants can be warned before the first noise.

Architects.

Notaries. An overview of the plot’s public-law restrictions in seconds, any protection of the building by a site plan, and the direct link to the official RDPPF extract, the only binding document for the deed.

As PDF, ready to add to the file

The building record and the list of building permits found around it export as a single dated PDF in your name, with its sources. It can be filed as is in a management, legal or project file.

Sources and scope

The data come from the Geneva territorial information system, openly licensed: register of public-law restrictions, heritage protection, cantonal works coordination, and indices declared to the cantonal energy office. They are given for guidance.

Only the official RDPPF extract is binding for public-law restrictions, and only the official gazette for building permits. Heat expenditure indices do not constitute an administrative decision.

Getting the options

The three options make up the building record, added to your plan: CHF 149 per year in total on the Individual plan, CHF 549 on the Office plan, VAT included.
