What you receive one email, in the morning, and only when something has changed
An email, in the morning, when something moves.
Nothing is sent while nothing happens. Every application is dated, placed relative to your address, and linked to its official record.
New filings on one side, status changes on the other: approved, on site, completed or dropped.
What the service does six functions, not one more
Enter an address and set the radius, from the plot itself up to one kilometre. Every application found shows its exact distance from the point searched.
A message as soon as an application is filed in one of your areas. Nothing is sent when nothing happens.
You are also notified when an application you follow is approved, goes on site, or is dropped.
A whole area, or just the two or three specific applications you have ticked in a list of results.
Lift, roof, added storey, change of use, or an application number. Accents are optional.
Every result opens the application’s record on the cantonal administrative platform, in one click.
How it works three steps, only one of them yours
An address, a radius, optionally application types and a keyword.
Cantonal data is queried daily and compared with what has already been reported to you.
A single grouped email, with new filings on one side and status changes on the other.
Why earlier than elsewhere article 3 of the Geneva buildings act, and what the accelerated procedure escapes
Commercial monitoring services work from the official gazette: they cannot report anything before it is published.
But the law does not publish everything there. Article 3 of the Geneva buildings act provides that permit applications are made public through a notice in the official gazette, with a thirty-day public inspection period. The accelerated procedure escapes it: the application is not published, only the permit is, once granted.
RADAR-oac queries the Geneva territorial information system directly, where an application appears as soon as the building permits office registers it, whichever procedure applies.
For an architect prospecting, an owner watching a neighbouring project, or a property manager tracking an appeal deadline, those weeks of lead time are exactly what counts.
One point of honesty: the accelerated procedure has no public inspection period. Seeing an application early serves to anticipate, to prepare a case or to make contact, not to file an objection: only the permit, once published, can be appealed.
Ce que la Feuille d’avis ne vous montre pas le même dossier, vu par chacun
RADAR-oac flags every application as soon as it is registered. The Official Gazette publishes a full application when the public inquiry opens, but for the 76 % filed under the accelerated procedure, it only publishes the permit, once granted. Your strategic advantage lies here.
Who is behind it a building consultancy, not a software house
RADAR-oac is a service by START solutions, an independent technical building consultancy in Geneva, led by JD Vuillety.
More than 35 years in construction and property management in French-speaking Switzerland, working daily with owners, property managers and condominiums on permits, renovation and compliance.
The service grew out of that practice: knowing what is being filed around a property is a practical need, poorly served by official channels.

What the service does not do the limits, stated before you subscribe
It covers the canton of Geneva only, and building permits only. No property sales, no public tenders, no debt collection or bankruptcy.
It gives neither the applicant’s name, nor the agent’s, nor the case documents: that information is on the official record, which every result links to.
It does not replace the official gazette, which alone is authoritative, in particular for calculating appeal deadlines.
